UI Automation Engineer
<p>We are seeking a skilled UI Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing solutions for a complex C# Windows desktop application. This role requires hands-on experience with Windows UI frameworks and automation tools, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.</p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Design and develop UI automation from scratch for a C# Windows desktop application</li><li>Automate critical workflows including login scenarios, report generation, and system configuration changes</li><li>Evaluate and recommend automation tools suitable for the application architecture (e.g., WinAppDriver, FlaUI, TestComplete)</li><li>Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand workflows and expected behaviors</li><li>Document test strategies, automation setup, and provide handoff for ongoing maintenance</li><li>Ensure automation coverage for authentication, permissions, and UI interactions</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Required Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Proven experience creating UI automation for Windows desktop applications</li><li>Strong understanding of WinForms or WPF frameworks</li><li>Hands-on expertise with tools such as WinAppDriver, FlaUI, TestStack.White, TestComplete, or AutoIt</li><li>Proficiency in Python or C# with Windows UI libraries</li><li>Experience with authentication and permissions testing</li><li>Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience integrating UI tests into CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)</li><li>Background in QA or SDET roles focused on desktop application testing</li></ul><p><br></p>
