Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations, support human resources functions, and assist with talent acquisition processes. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the smooth execution of daily operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process bi-weekly payroll using NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and compliance.<br>• Handle sensitive employee and payroll data with discretion and integrity.<br>• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and compliance requirements.<br>• Support talent acquisition efforts by posting job requisitions, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.<br>• Assist with HR-related duties, such as submitting background checks and maintaining compliance with external agencies.<br>• Perform routine administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.<br>• Provide executive support by summarizing meetings, tracking projects, and managing assigned tasks.<br>• Collaborate on payroll reconciliation and data verification to ensure accuracy.<br>• Conduct research and create organized documentation to support HR and payroll functions.<br>• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and payroll.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.<br>• Demonstrated experience in full-cycle payroll, including multi-state operations and handling payroll for over 500 employees.<br>• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and NetSuite systems.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage corporate recruiting and onboarding processes effectively.<br>• Proven track record of handling confidential information with professionalism.
