<p><strong>Location:</strong> Onsite daily – Suwanee, GA (this is non-negotiable)</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Long-term contract, likely to convert</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking an <strong>Experienced Load Planner</strong> with hands-on background in <strong>LTL, truckload, and expedite planning</strong>. This role is essential in ensuring freight is efficiently planned, tracked, and executed across multiple transportation modes. Most day-to-day operations are handled in <strong>OTM (Oracle Transportation Management)</strong>, with <strong>MacroPoint</strong> used for real-time tracking on expedite shipments.</p><p>This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, logistics-savvy, and capable of working cross-functionally with internal teams, carrier partners, and customer-facing systems.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and coordinate daily <strong>LTL, truckload, and expedite</strong> shipments to ensure on-time, cost-effective execution.</li><li>Use <strong>OTM</strong> to plan, tender, and manage transportation orders.</li><li>Track expedite loads using <strong>MacroPoint</strong> (and similar tools such as FourKites).</li><li>Manage and update <strong>training documents</strong>, SOPs, and process guides.</li><li>Work within the <strong>customer portal</strong>, ensuring data and shipment updates flow accurately.</li><li>Troubleshoot load issues, routing exceptions, and carrier-related delays.</li><li>Collaborate with carrier partners, internal operations, and customer teams to maintain service levels.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Recent hands-on experience</strong> planning LTL, truckload, and expedite shipments.</li><li>Experience using <strong>OTM</strong> or another TMS platform (preferred but not required).</li><li>Familiarity with tracking platforms such as <strong>MacroPoint</strong> or <strong>FourKites</strong>.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.</li><li>High attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in logistics documentation.</li><li>Ability to maintain training materials and operational procedures.</li><li>Comfortable working in an <strong>onsite, fast-paced logistics environment</strong>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Who Thrives in This Role</strong></p><p>This position is ideal for someone who:</p><ul><li>Has worked in <strong>freight planning</strong> across multiple modes.</li><li>Enjoys solving problems in real time.</li><li>Can balance planning efficiency with customer expectations.</li><li>Wants a long-term opportunity with potential for <strong>full-time conversion and bonus eligibility</strong>.</li></ul><p>**Please note, this role is onsite Monday-Friday in Suwanee.
