Paralegal
<p>Our company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal with 3–5 years of patent and intellectual property (IP) experience. In this role, you will work in our Sunnyvale office providing critical support to our legal team in the management of patent prosecution, trademark filings, and other IP matters.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, review, and file patent and trademark applications and supporting documents</li><li>Assist attorneys with patent prosecution, IP portfolio management, and maintenance</li><li>Perform legal research related to patents, copyrights, and trademarks</li><li>Manage all correspondence with USPTO and other regulatory agencies</li><li>Maintain accurate IP records, deadlines, and relevant documentation</li><li>Support attorneys in IP litigation, including document preparation and evidence gathering</li><li>Communicate with inventors, clients, and external counsel as needed</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>3–5 years of experience as a Paralegal focused on patent and intellectual property matters</li><li>Strong understanding of patent prosecution and IP portfolio management</li><li>Familiarity with USPTO processes and e-filing systems</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research/database platforms</li><li>Ability to work effectively in an in-office, collaborative team environment</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate (Preferred)</li><li>Prior experience supporting patent attorneys in a law firm or corporate legal department</li></ul><p><br></p>
