This is a contract position where you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage accounting processes and drive organizational success. Responsibilities: • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate financial records. • Prepare and present detailed accounting reports, ensuring thorough analysis and summarization of financial data. • Develop and implement effective processes within the Inventory and Accounting teams for optimal performance. • Lead and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering accountability and growth with attention to detail. • Identify errors and inefficiencies, recommending improvements to optimize spending and operational workflows. • Oversee modifications to accounting systems and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices. • Collaborate on financial forecasting and standards setting to support organizational goals. • Generate financial statements and budgets in a timely manner, adhering to schedules and compliance requirements. • Manage tax return preparation and filing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations. • Support external audits by preparing documentation and verifying compliance with financial conditions.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. • At least 5 years of proven leadership experience. • Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software, including NetSuite. • Strong skills in month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger management. • Expertise in inventory accounting and balance sheet reconciliation. • Demonstrated ability to handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
