Tax Staff - Public
We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Staff member to join our team in Statesville, North Carolina. In this role, you will assist with tax preparation and compliance for both individual and corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations. This position offers an opportunity to grow your career while contributing to the success of our clients.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to ensure compliance with tax laws.<br>• Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx software to manage tax preparation and reporting processes.<br>• Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and apply updates to client filings.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues and provide solutions.<br>• Organize and maintain detailed records for audits and future references.<br>• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes.<br>• Respond to client inquiries and provide expert guidance on tax-related matters.<br>• Ensure deadlines are met for all tax filings and submissions.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the tax preparation workflow.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.<br>• Proficiency in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.<br>• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx software or similar tax platforms.<br>• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.<br>• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.<br>• Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
