Data Analysis
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support data analysis and auditing processes within our organization. This long-term contract position is based in Stamford, Connecticut, and offers the opportunity to work with large-scale datasets while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy and analytical skills to validate employee data efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct audits of employee time-off data to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulations.<br>• Analyze and reconcile records across various states, departments, and employee categories to identify discrepancies.<br>• Extract, manipulate, and validate large datasets to confirm data accuracy.<br>• Perform detailed calculations and data analysis using Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.<br>• Collaborate with payroll systems to ensure data integrity during audits and updates.<br>• Identify inconsistencies in records and propose corrective actions for resolution.<br>• Maintain organized documentation of audit findings and data validation processes.<br>• Support system transitions by ensuring payroll and time-off data are ready for migration.<br>• Communicate effectively with team members to clarify data issues and ensure audit goals are met.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and managing large datasets.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Experience with auditing data and reconciling records.<br>• Familiarity with payroll systems and time-off policies is preferred.<br>• Ability to handle complex datasets and perform thorough validations.<br>• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and ensure compliance.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and address data discrepancies.
