Executive Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Vice President for Enrollment Management at a college in Maryland. This role requires an individual who is detail oriented and excels in managing schedules, coordinating travel, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. As a long-term contract position, this opportunity offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to the goals and mission of the college.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the Vice President’s calendar by organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.<br>• Coordinate and arrange travel plans, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.<br>• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and follow up on action items.<br>• Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and detail oriented experience.<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and response.<br>• Provide administrative support for executive meetings and assist with back-office operations.<br>• Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information related to college policies and procedures.<br>• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.<br>• Act as a liaison between the Vice President and other departments, fostering effective communication.<br>• Proactively identify and address administrative needs to enhance operational efficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in managing complex calendars and scheduling systems.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Demonstrated experience in arranging travel and coordinating logistics.<br>• High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.<br>• Proficiency in office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
