Network Administrator
Are you an experienced IT detail oriented with a passion for ensuring network reliability and optimizing performance? Our company is seeking a skilled Network Administrator for a contract or permanent opportunity in St. Louis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting mission-critical business technologies. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, administer, and support local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), firewalls, routers, switches, and related network hardware/software (Source: 2025 Tech Report.docx). Troubleshoot network issues, perform root-cause analysis, and manage system upgrades or repairs. Monitor network performance, implement security measures, and ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are operational. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network needs for new project
Top Qualifications: Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role overseeing network infrastructure (Source: 2025 Tech Report.docx). Proficiency with network hardware and management tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, Meraki). Strong understanding of security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection. Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and switching/routing protocols. detail oriented certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar, are preferred. Ability to work onsite, remotely, or in hybrid environments to support 24/7 system uptime as required.
