Account Manager
<p>We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team fully onsite in Springfield, Vermont. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, managing accounts, and promoting our products and services. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a passion for sales and account management that is looking to grow within a company.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Drive sales by promoting products and services to both new and existing customers through techniques such as up-selling, cross-selling, and offering bundled solutions.</p><p>• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company offerings, pricing structures, technical capabilities, and service territories to effectively assist customers.</p><p>• Process customer payments, investigate billing issues, and apply credits or adjustments while adhering to company policies and regulations.</p><p>• Establish payment plans and security deposits for delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with credit guidelines.</p><p>• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and carrier information maintenance to support operational efficiency.</p><p>• Assist in processing batch payments, recurring credit card transactions, and handle disconnection procedures for accounts in arrears.</p><p>• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and escalate complex matters to supervisors when necessary.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations when accessing customer accounts, including completing annual training requirements.</p><p>• Support miscellaneous duties assigned by management to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.</p>
• Proven experience in account management, preferably in a high-tech engineering or similar industry.<br>• Strong B2B sales skills with the ability to handle inbound inquiries effectively.<br>• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail when resolving billing or account-related concerns.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks, ensuring accurate record maintenance.<br>• Solid understanding of payment processing procedures and credit policy guidelines.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address customer needs.<br>• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach when handling customer interactions.
