<p>Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced non-profit accountant to support a client in Springfield, Ohio following some turnover. This is a contract role, potential contract to hire. Role will oversee two resources in the accounting department, and be responsible for leading and executing a wide variety of non-profit financial management items to include: Federal grant accounting and compliance, A/R, A/P, audit support, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This is a hybrid role, with 3-4 days onsite at the client's location in Springfield, OH. This role has contract to hire potential after a 3-4 month contract period.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee federal grant compliance, ensuring adherence to all reporting and billing standards.</p><p>• Manage client database platforms and billing systems with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.</p><p>• Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial dashboard reporting processes.</p><p>• Direct audits, including federal grant audits, 401(k) audits, and other compliance reviews.</p><p>• Lead accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, maintaining financial accuracy.</p><p>• Ensure timely submission of grant applications and federal billing reports.</p><p>• Partner with department directors to drive collaboration and integrate cross-functional efforts.</p><p>• Regularly interact with the Board of Directors to provide financial insights and updates.</p><p>• Guide teams through ambiguous situations, fostering solutions-oriented approaches.</p>

<p>• Extensive experience in managing annual budgets and month-end close processes.</p><p>• Proficiency in financial reporting and cash flow forecasting.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of federal grant compliance and financial audits.</p><p>• Expertise in accounts receivable and accounts payable operations.</p><p>• Advanced technical aptitude, including systems integration and software optimization.</p><p>• Proven ability to lead cross-departmental collaboration and consensus building.</p><p>• Assertive and adaptive leadership skills, with a focus on driving results.</p><p>• Familiarity with Blackbaud Financial Edge</p>
