Compensation Manager
We are looking for an experienced Compensation Manager to join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in analyzing, developing, and managing compensation programs to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures. This position requires a deep understanding of market trends and expertise in compensation strategies to support organizational goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct salary surveys and analyze industry trends to maintain competitive pay practices.<br>• Evaluate job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate salary ranges, classifications, and exemption statuses.<br>• Develop and manage compensation structures, including base pay, incentive programs, bonuses, and commissions.<br>• Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to align compensation strategies with organizational objectives.<br>• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and workers' compensation policies.<br>• Provide guidance and insights on compensation matters to support recruitment and retention efforts.<br>• Monitor and adjust compensation programs based on market changes and organizational needs.<br>• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate compensation strategies and findings.<br>• Partner with external vendors to conduct benchmarking studies and gather relevant market data.
• Proven experience in compensation analysis and program management.<br>• Strong knowledge of compensation surveys and benchmarking processes.<br>• Familiarity with workers’ compensation laws and related regulations.<br>• Expertise in designing and administering incentive and bonus structures.<br>• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.<br>• Proficiency in creating detailed reports and presentations.<br>• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits.
