Customer Service Representative
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our pharmacy team on a contract basis in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage inquiries while maintaining accurate records.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an immediate contract or contract-to-hire position in Spokane Valley. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, or other communication channels, providing accurate information about pharmacy services and products.</p><p>• Offer guidance on medications, treatments, and pharmacy services, addressing customer concerns effectively.</p><p>• Process prescription requests with precision, ensuring data entry aligns with doctor's orders and pharmacy protocols.</p><p>• Resolve discrepancies with insurance providers and process payments in a timely manner.</p><p>• Create a positive customer experience by fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.</p><p>• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain seamless operations.</p><p>• Perform administrative tasks such as organizing paperwork, managing patient profiles, and handling sensitive information securely.</p><p>• Stay informed about pharmacy standards, new medications, and technology by participating in training and development programs.</p>
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.<br>• Strong ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear correspondence and appointment scheduling.<br>• Capability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and attention to detail.<br>• Adept at email communication and order entry processes.<br>• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and insurance procedures is a plus.<br>• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
