Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Financial Analyst role for a manufacturing company in Reno. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with about 3 years of experience to grow their skills to the next level in a sophisticated manufacturing environment. The person in this role will:<br>• Provide timely and accurate monthly and year-end financial reporting and analysis and prepare reporting files.<br>• Support periodic budgeting processes (FC / PJ / OL / 10YP) and prepare budget files.<br>• Provide analysis and reporting of key performance indicators.<br>• Work with operations to track and improve quality of KPIs.<br>• Identify deviations/variances proactively and partner with necessary departments to understand the cause.<br>• Track capex project spending and provide weekly reporting to project managers.<br>• Assist with ROI calculation on capex projects.<br>• Assist with calculation and maintenance of standard costs.<br>• Develop financial models and forecasts as requested.<br>• Assist with flux analysis during audits.<br>• Support development and rollout of ERP system (SAP)<br>• Additional financial projects as requested.<br>To be considered for this opportunity candidates should have:<br>• Position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis <br>• Demonstrated financial forecasting experience.<br>• Understanding of US GAAP.<br>• Ability to use and comprehend various software technologies with an aptitude to learn new skills.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Excel; proficient with MS Office suite.<br>• Self-directed and able to construct meaningful analysis with general guidance.<br>• Strong analytical skills.<br>• Desire to discover underlying factors to developments and deviations in analyzed data.<br>• Ability to propose solutions and approaches to novel analytical problems.<br>The company offers a SEP IRA retirement package, generous health benefits and time off and a Reno based office location.
