Insurance Defense Attorney
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven <strong>Insurance Defense Attorney</strong> to join our legal team. In this role, you will represent insurance companies and policyholders in civil litigation cases, including third-party liability claims and first-party claims disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, the ability to provide effective counsel on insurance matters, and a deep understanding of applicable state and federal laws. Expertise in insurance defense, excellent negotiation capabilities, and trial courtroom experience are highly valued.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide legal counsel, representation, and defense to insurance carriers and policyholders. (Source: DFST2025 - Midyear Update.pdf)</li><li>Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and other case-related documents.</li><li>Investigate claims, analyze evidence, and develop strategies for effective case resolution.</li><li>Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.</li><li>Engage in settlement negotiations and advise clients on case management outcomes.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</li><li>Active state bar membership in good standing.</li><li>2+ years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation.
