Whether you’re already experienced or new to risk adjustment, this <strong>Chart Retrieval Specialist</strong> position offers full support, hands-on experience, and meaningful fieldwork.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Travel up to 60 miles one way to healthcare provider offices to retrieve electronic and paper medical charts.</li><li>Use company-provided equipment to scan and securely upload medical records.</li><li>Coordinate access to records with office staff while maintaining professionalism and HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Accurately document completed retrievals and submit records via a secure system.</li><li>Complete all work submissions and communication from home – no reporting to an office required.</li><li>Participate in two days of paid remote training to get up to speed on processes and tools.</li><li>Collaborate with Team Leads and fellow Chart Retrieval Specialists as needed.</li></ul>

<p>Job Requirements:</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance in your name.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 60 miles one way to provider sites.</li><li>Monday through Friday availability, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; some projects may require three or more consecutive workdays.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds safely.</li><li>Comfortable using scanning equipment and basic file operations (download, upload, file transfer).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Prior experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Allscripts, e-Clinical Works, or Nextgen is a plus.</li><li>Professional communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>What You’ll Love About This Role:</p><ul><li>All equipment provided: password-protected laptop, scanner, flash drives, and travel-ready backpack.</li><li>Hourly pay with mileage reimbursement starting at mile one.</li><li>No office reporting—complete submissions and communication from home.</li><li>Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with electronic health records (EHRs).</li><li>Grow your knowledge of the healthcare industry.</li><li>Work independently in the field while supported by a collaborative team.</li></ul>
