Inventory Control Clerk
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Clerk to oversee the tracking, management, and coordination of furniture, décor, and accessories across multiple warehouses. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our design and staging teams have access to inventory in a timely and efficient manner. As a Contract to permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the company.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing items.<br>• Conduct routine inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Label, tag, and categorize inventory items systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval.<br>• Support staging activities and manage the return process, ensuring all items are handled with care.<br>• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate inventory requests.<br>• Ensure inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.<br>• Assist in preparing inventory reports for management and other relevant teams.<br>• Implement best practices for inventory management to improve efficiency.<br>• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses to the appropriate teams.
• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.<br>• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and software.<br>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.<br>• Knowledge of safety protocols for warehouse environments.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.<br>• Ability to lift and move items as required during inventory handling.
