NOC Technician
We are looking for a skilled NOC Technician to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in network operations while working with cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of network systems and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functionality and quickly identify and resolve issues.<br>• Perform routine maintenance and updates on network systems and related hardware.<br>• Provide support for wireless protocols, including Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN).<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues related to cable assemblies and other network components.<br>• Utilize tools like Norton Utilities to diagnose and optimize Windows-based systems.<br>• Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes in a clear and organized manner.<br>• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement network improvement strategies.<br>• Support the installation and configuration of network equipment as needed.<br>• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for network operations.
• Proven experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) role or similar technical support position.<br>• Proficiency in using Norton Utilities for Windows systems maintenance and troubleshooting.<br>• Strong knowledge of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN).<br>• Familiarity with cable assemblies and related network hardware.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve technical issues.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and collaborating on network operations.<br>• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
