<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Shreveport, Louisiana. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial processes and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and review sales tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations.</p><p>• Manage corporate tax returns, including documentation and submission.</p><p>• Record and reconcile journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.</p><p>• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.</p><p>• Operate accounting software such as QuickBooks and NetSuite to manage financial data.</p><p>• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.</p>
