In this short-term contract to full time position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate billing and claims processing within the healthcare industry. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in medical billing, coding, and collections.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process and submit medical claims to insurance providers and government programs such as Medicaid.</p><p>• Review patient billing statements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.</p><p>• Perform coding of medical procedures and diagnoses using established guidelines.</p><p>• Manage collections, including follow-ups with insurance companies and patients.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and healthcare standards.</p><p>• Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary patient information for claims.</p><p>• Maintain organized records of billing activities for auditing and reporting purposes.</p><p>• Stay updated on changes to billing codes and insurance policies.</p><p>• Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries.</p>
