Attorney/Lawyer
We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join a rapidly growing law firm in Sherman Oak, California. This firm specializes in personal injury cases and prides itself on its commitment to being detail-oriented, teamwork, and client advocacy. The role offers a unique opportunity to handle a variety of cases, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage cases from inception to trial, overseeing all aspects of pre-trial and trial litigation.<br>• Collaborate with partners and team members to share caseloads and ensure effective case management.<br>• Handle diverse cases including personal injury, employment law, sexual assault, premises liability, product liability, and wrongful death.<br>• Conduct discovery processes, including depositions, and prepare law and motion documents.<br>• Represent clients during court appearances and manage pleadings effectively.<br>• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel to ensure clear and detail-oriented interactions.<br>• Maintain and meet billable hour requirements.<br>• Mentor associates at the entry level and contribute to their growth.<br>• Utilize advanced legal technology, including FileVine, to maintain a paperless workflow.
• Must be a licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience in civil litigation.<br>• Proven ability to litigate cases independently, managing pre-trial and trial processes.<br>• Strong expertise in drafting motions, briefing, and discovery.<br>• Experience handling personal injury cases and familiarity with medical buildup processes.<br>• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and legal professionals.<br>• Ambitious and creative mindset with a strong drive to succeed.<br>• Ability to manage a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with legal technology and paperless systems is preferred.
