<p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Server/System Administrator</strong> with both strategic solutioning capabilities and deep hands-on technical expertise. This role is ideal for someone who can operate at a high level—thinking about infrastructure holistically—while also executing day-to-day tasks across a broad technology stack. You’ll be supporting a wide range of infrastructure responsibilities, similar to an Infrastructure Manager, and will be a key contributor to long-term projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Architect, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Lead and support server administration, virtualization, storage, and cloud deployments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure scalability and reliability.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across multiple platforms.</li><li>Manage and optimize Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and site replication.</li><li>Oversee Microsoft 365 migrations (Email, OneDrive, SharePoint).</li><li>Administer and maintain VMware environments and server hardware.</li><li>Support backup and disaster recovery strategies.</li><li>Provide documentation and process improvement recommendations.</li></ul>

<p>Candidates must demonstrate <strong>breadth and depth</strong> across the following technologies:</p><ul><li><strong>Virtualization & Storage:</strong> VMware, Nutanix, NetApp</li><li><strong>Cloud Platforms:</strong> Azure and/or AWS</li><li><strong>Microsoft Ecosystem:</strong> O365 (Email, SSO, Users, Groups, Enterprise Apps), Microsoft 365 migrations</li><li><strong>Server & Directory Services:</strong> Windows Server Administration, Active Directory (ADUC, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Trusts, Site Replication), NTFS Permissions</li><li><strong>Monitoring & File Transfer:</strong> SolarWinds NPM, ManageEngine SFTP</li><li><strong>Remote Access & Virtualization:</strong> Citrix</li><li><strong>Backup Solutions:</strong> Experience with server hardware and cloud-based backup strategies</li><li><strong><em><u>MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK ON W2</u></em></strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in <strong>solutioning and strategic infrastructure planning</strong>.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work across a <strong>broad infrastructure landscape</strong>, not just specialized or project-specific roles.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate processes and decisions.</li><li>Experience leading or contributing to <strong>long-term infrastructure projects</strong>.</li><li>Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Not Looking For</strong></p><p>To ensure alignment with the client’s expectations, candidates with the following profiles may not be a fit:</p><ul><li>Narrow or project-specific experience without broader infrastructure exposure.</li><li>Roles focused primarily on end-user support, desktop support, or help desk.</li><li>Limited or outdated experience with key technologies like VMware, storage solutions, or cloud platforms.</li><li>Candidates who cannot clearly articulate their responsibilities or solutioning contributions.</li><li><strong><em><u>Third party candidates </u></em></strong></li></ul><p><br></p>
