<p>Robert Half has partnered with a respected law firm located in Santa Fe, NM, in search of an Associate Attorney who will have their own caseload of interesting and varied personal injury claims from pre-litigation through settlement or trial. They are a long-established and locally owned law firm that has been representing injured New Mexicans for more than 30 years. The successful applicant will be responsible for meeting with injury clients and helping them navigate insurance claims with compassion and professionalism. We may also ask the associate to conduct legal research, assist in drafting demands and mediation statements, as well as negotiate injury claims to successful resolution. <p><strong>Your Role and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Independently manage a caseload of 50-80 personal injury cases from intake through resolution.</li><li>Negotiate settlements with adjusters and defense counsel to maximize client compensation.</li><li>Advocate for clients by effectively communicating with medical providers, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.</li><li>Conduct legal research, draft demand letters, and develop case strategies to strengthen claims.</li><li>Assist with litigation overflow, including motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.</li><li>Utilize case management software and legal technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.</li><li>Uphold and enhance the firm’s reputation for excellence, professionalism, and client advocacy.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Who They are Looking For:</strong></p><ul><li>Licensed to practice law in New Mexico and in good standing with the state bar.</li><li>3-5 years of personal injury experience with solid litigation skills and aptitude to improve.</li><li>Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills – Strong advocacy begins with clear,</li><li>persuasive writing.</li><li>Excellent organizational and case management skills – Ability to balance multiple cases.</li><li>Independent yet collaborative – Confidently handle cases while working seamlessly with the team.</li><li>Tech-savvy – Comfortable using case management software, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Passionate about helping injured clients – A commitment to fighting for justice and achieving real results.</li></ul>
