We are looking for a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. This is a contract position within the government sector, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth distribution and organization of election-related supplies. Responsibilities: • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of supply bags for poll workers prior to election day. • Arrange lanes and set up directional signage to streamline vehicle movement. • Utilize logs and tickets to guide vehicles to the appropriate lanes for supply pick-up. • Verify that supply bags are accurately assigned to the correct poll workers using detailed records. • Provide traffic direction at entry and exit points to ensure efficient flow. • Safely load supply bags into vehicles while maintaining organization and accuracy. • Support the team in maintaining a clean and orderly distribution area. • Collaborate with staff to address any logistical challenges that arise during the distribution process.

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Physical capability to lift and move supply bags as needed. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with poll workers and team members. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required. • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role is a plus, but not mandatory.
