Architecture/Interior Designer
We are looking for a talented Architecture/Interior Designer to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Ana, California. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of custom fabric structures, awnings, and canopies for commercial projects. Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other team members, you will create technical drawings and 3D models to support our innovative designs.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and refine shop drawings to ensure precision and adherence to project specifications.<br>• Analyze architectural plans and verify compatibility with structural requirements.<br>• Update drawings based on feedback to maintain compliance with project standards and deadlines.<br>• Assist in material take-offs and support manufacturing preparation processes.<br>• Create detailed renderings and 3D models to bring designs to life.<br>• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to align technical drawings with client needs.<br>• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and organized.<br>• Provide input on design improvements and innovative solutions.<br>• Maintain open communication with team members to support project success.
• At least 3-5 years of drafting experience in architecture or interior design.<br>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.<br>• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD and familiarity with SketchUp or similar 3D modeling software.<br>• Strong knowledge of construction documents, blueprints, and technical standards.<br>• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.<br>• Ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative.<br>• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.<br>• Experience with fabric structures or tensile architecture is a plus.
