<p>We’re looking for a Data Privacy Analyst or Paralegal with experience supporting privacy, data protection, or compliance initiatives—ideally in a cross-functional or legal team setting. You’ll help operationalize privacy requirements, support assessments and data subject rights processes, and collaborate with teams across Legal, Security, IT, HR, and Product.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a long-term contract position with flexibility for remote work within Pacific Time (PST) or a hybrid schedule near San Ramon, CA.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Privacy Office in implementing and maintaining data protection compliance programs (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CPRA).</li><li>Assist in reviewing and maintaining privacy documentation, including data processing agreements, records of processing activities, and internal policies.</li><li>Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and support vendor and product privacy reviews.</li><li>Track and respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) and other privacy inquiries.</li><li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Security, Product, HR, IT) to ensure alignment on privacy standards and controls.</li><li>Support audits, reporting, and program tracking for privacy initiatives.</li><li>Monitor evolving data protection laws and regulations and assist with implementing relevant changes.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>2–5 years of experience in a privacy, compliance, or legal operations support role.</li><li>Familiarity with key privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, etc.).</li><li>Experience supporting in-house legal or cross-functional privacy teams.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.</li><li>Comfort working with documentation, spreadsheets, and privacy tools.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.</li><li><strong>Bonus:</strong> CIPP, CIPM, or EU AI Act; experience in tech or SaaS companies.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re passionate about privacy, thrive in collaborative environments, and want to make an impact in data protection, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p><br></p>
