<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p> The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.</li><li>Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.</li><li>Process journal entries and account reconciliations.</li><li>Support internal and external audits.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.</li><li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate finance or banking.</li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in the banking or credit union industry.</li><li>Familiarity with SQL or other data tools is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>
