Lease-up Project
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to oversee the lease-up process for a new affordable housing community in San Francisco, California. This is a long-term contract position that requires a strong background in property management, tenant relations, and compliance with affordable housing regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the property is successfully leased while maintaining high standards of service and adherence to all relevant guidelines.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage all aspects of the lease-up process, including marketing, tenant application reviews, and move-in coordination.</p><p>• Conduct thorough tenant screenings to ensure compliance with income eligibility and fair housing regulations.</p><p>• Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to attract applicants with relevant experience, leveraging partnerships with local organizations and online platforms.</p><p>• Monitor and enforce compliance with affordable housing programs such as Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit requirements.</p><p>• Supervise and support leasing agents and administrative staff, providing training on compliance and customer service.</p><p>• Maintain detailed records of tenant applications, leases, and other documentation for regulatory reporting purposes.</p><p>• Prepare and deliver regular progress updates to senior management on lease-up goals and milestones.</p><p>• Address tenant inquiries and assist with the completion of lease agreements and move-in procedures.</p><p>• Foster positive relationships with community organizations to enhance outreach efforts.</p><p>• Ensure the property meets all local, state, and federal housing standards throughout the lease-up process.</p><p><br></p><p>** If you're interested in this position, please apply to this position and contact Allison Jacques at Allison.jacques - at - roberthalf - .com with your word resume and reference job ID#*00410-0013288482*</p>
• Proven experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing.<br>• Strong knowledge of federal and state affordable housing regulations, including Section 8 and LIHTC.<br>• Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.<br>• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, staff, and community partners.<br>• Proficiency in using property management software and tools.<br>• Ability to lead and train teams in compliance and customer service protocols.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records for reporting.<br>• Familiarity with marketing strategies and outreach initiatives for tenant recruitment.
