Data Security Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Data Security Analyst to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in safeguarding organizational data and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. This role demands expertise in detecting and preventing fraud, implementing security policies, and managing tools to protect sensitive information.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor and analyze security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.<br>• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.<br>• Utilize SIEM tools to detect and respond to security incidents effectively.<br>• Conduct fraud analytics to identify suspicious activities and mitigate risks.<br>• Work with application security protocols to safeguard software systems.<br>• Manage databases using Microsoft SQL to ensure secure data storage.<br>• Generate data insights using Tableau and Snowflake to support security decisions.<br>• Collaborate with teams to provide training and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.<br>• Investigate and resolve security breaches while documenting findings.<br>• Continuously evaluate security measures to enhance system protection.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or data security roles.<br>• Proficiency in SIEM tools and application security protocols.<br>• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity policies and standards.<br>• Experience with fraud detection and analytics.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake platforms.<br>• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent credentials.<br>• Ability to identify and mitigate potential fraud risks.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
