Conflicts Analyst
<p>A global professional services firm is seeking an Associate Conflict Analyst to support its Conflict Management team with high-level risk assessments, conflict checks, client due diligence, and matter intake workflows. The Associate Conflict Analyst will conduct conflict-of-interest checks, perform legal and organizational research, and identify potential risk issues under the guidance of the firm’s Conflict Management leadership. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that new matters, new clients, and new hires align with the firm’s internal policies and professional responsibility standards.</p><p>This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity aligned to Pacific Time business hours, ideal for a West Coast–based professional with strong analytical skills and experience in conflicts, AML, client intake, or legal research.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Gather and validate information needed to perform conflict-of-interest analysis, including independent research via PACER and external sources.</li><li>Conduct conflict searches in Intapp Open using Boolean logic and established policies for issue identification.</li><li>Summarize potential conflict issues and coordinate mitigation or escalation with senior team members.</li><li>Communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels to obtain clarifications and resolve issues.</li><li>Maintain and update the conflict database, performing quality control checks for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Assist with due diligence for new hires, new clients, and RFP-related research as needed.</li><li>Support the Conflict Management team with other projects and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>1–3+ years of experience in conflict analysis, client intake, AML, risk management, or a legal support role.</li><li>Strong research skills, including familiarity with PACER and public record sources.</li><li>Experience with Intapp Open (required).</li><li>Proficiency in Boolean search logic (required).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex information.</li><li>High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>General understanding of law firm operations, conflicts principles, or professional services environments preferred.</li><li>Candidates must be based on the West Coast to support Pacific business hours (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM PT)</li></ul><p><br></p>
