Sr. Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Administrative Assistant to join a non-profit organization in San Angelo, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in coordinating disaster recovery efforts, supervising case workers, and ensuring the successful implementation of community relief programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee and monitor the case load of case workers assigned to disaster recovery programs, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.<br>• Supervise case workers, provide guidance, and support their growth and skill development.<br>• Participate in strategic planning and assist in hiring processes related to recovery initiatives.<br>• Coordinate the flow of program information and ensure effective communication among staff, volunteers, and community partners.<br>• Analyze program delivery and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.<br>• Assist clients with unresolved relief issues and provide culturally sensitive services.<br>• Maintain respectful relationships with clients and community stakeholders while addressing their needs.<br>• Draft and distribute policy guidelines in collaboration with divisional headquarters.<br>• Engage in disaster-related community recovery efforts and represent the organization in coalitions.<br>• Provide logistical and operational support to regional offices as necessary.
• Proven experience in administrative assistance, including managing calendars and coordinating schedules.<br>• Ability to book travel arrangements and manage conference calls efficiently.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for handling import/export documents.<br>• Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.<br>• Experience in supervising staff and managing program delivery processes.<br>• Familiarity with disaster recovery programs or similar initiatives is a plus.<br>• Proficiency in evaluating program effectiveness and implementing changes.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain positive client relationships.
