In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing budgetary processes, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation, and supporting key fiscal initiatives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in government budgeting and advanced proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities:• Revise and update the Capital Improvement Plan document to reflect current organizational priorities.• Assist in preparing budget amendments and adjustments• Provide in-depth support for government budget processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze complex datasets with precision.• Ensure all financial documentation is accurate, detailed, and aligned with organizational goals.• Collaborate on fund accounting tasks to ensure proper allocation and tracking of resources.• Offer continued assistance with the annual budget process, ensuring seamless execution.• Identify opportunities to improve existing budgetary frameworks and implement necessary changes.

• Proven experience in government budgeting, including amendments and adjustments. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets. • Strong knowledge of budget processes, fund accounting, and financial documentation. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets accurately. • Familiarity with annual operating budgets and capital improvement planning. • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to financial management. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
