<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to support datacenter and office buildouts, remodels, and network infrastructure projects. This role focuses on structured cabling, server rack installations, and network node deployment. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Cat5/Cat6 and fiber cabling, access control, video surveillance, and comm room setups. This is a physically demanding role that requires work at heights and significant travel.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, terminate, and test <strong>Cat5/Cat6 cabling</strong>.</li><li>Install and terminate <strong>fiber optic cabling</strong>.</li><li>Assist with <strong>rack and stack server builds</strong> and node deployments.</li><li>Support <strong>access control and video surveillance</strong> system installations.</li><li>Work at heights on ladders or lifts (above 6 feet) as required for cabling.</li><li>Perform network connectivity tasks in <strong>communication rooms</strong>, including punching down to switches.</li><li>Participate in spinning up new <strong>data centers or office networks</strong>.</li><li>Travel extensively to client sites (travel expenses reimbursed).</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in <strong>low voltage wiring</strong>; not a licensed electrician.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Cat5/Cat6 and fiber cabling</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>access control and video surveillance systems</strong>.</li><li>Comfortable working at heights and physically capable of handling cabling tasks.</li><li>Experience in <strong>comm room or data-center environments</strong>, including network terminations.</li><li>Ability to travel frequently for projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience supporting <strong>office or data-center build-outs</strong>.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>network node deployment</strong> and server rack setups.</li></ul><p><br></p>
