Controller
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a manufacturing company located in Saint Peters, Missouri. This contract position requires a proactive and meticulous individual to oversee financial and accounting operations, ensuring the facility achieves its performance and profitability goals. The Controller will collaborate closely with senior management and lead a team responsible for essential financial functions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare accurate financial statements and monthly analysis to provide insights into company performance.<br>• Supervise and monitor all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with established standards.<br>• Establish and recommend performance benchmarks to evaluate the company’s financial health.<br>• Collaborate with departmental leaders to develop annual budgets and division forecasts.<br>• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless audit processes.<br>• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.<br>• Manage and mentor the accounting team to foster growth and efficiency.<br>• Develop and implement processes to control manufacturing costs and maintain profitability tracking systems.
• Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.<br>• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools such as 3M, ADP Financial Services, and CRM.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing processes.<br>• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and annual standard cost analysis.<br>• Familiarity with budget creation and financial forecasting.<br>• Ability to oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with government regulations.<br>• Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with teams and senior management.<br>• Experience working with Crystal Reports and other financial reporting tools.
