<p>Our client, a respected employment litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Fully-Remote Contract Attorney to support their team on an ongoing basis. This attorney will assist across a range of civil litigation matters, primarily focused on employment-related claims on behalf of police officers, public safety agencies, and police unions. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, can manage matters independently, and is comfortable jumping into active cases.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a long-term contract role with flexible scheduling.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Draft and respond to complaints, motions, and discovery</li><li>Conduct legal research and prepare law & motion work</li><li>Draft and respond to interrogatories, RFAs, and RFPs</li><li>Assist with case strategy, deposition preparation, and factual development</li><li>Support attorneys on employment litigation matters involving law enforcement personnel</li><li>Manage deadlines, organize case files, and handle tasks independently</li><li>Produce high‑quality legal writing and analysis</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Active California Bar license</li><li>4+ years of civil litigation experience</li><li>Strong experience with discovery, pleadings, and motion practice</li><li>Excellent legal research and writing skills</li><li>Ability to commit to at least 25 hours per week</li><li>Employment litigation experience a plus</li><li>Experience with public entities or law enforcement agencies is helpful but not required</li></ul>
