We are looking for a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team in Runnemede, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting processes, financial reconciliations, and month-end procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and a strong foundation in essential accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Oversee cash reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reviewing financial statements. • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. • Maintain and update the general ledger with accuracy and attention to detail. • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts to ensure data integrity. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial reporting processes. • Prepare and submit reports to management on financial performance and trends. • Adhere to company policies and accounting regulations to ensure compliance.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, specifically in balance sheet and cash reconciliations. • Proficiency in managing month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation. • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation. • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
