Accounting Assistant
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Rowley, Massachusetts. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key part in managing essential financial functions and supporting accurate record-keeping. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our accounting processes while working collaboratively within a dynamic environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and accuracy.<br>• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with statements.<br>• Accurately code invoices and verify proper documentation for payment.<br>• Maintain and update financial records for timely reporting.<br>• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to payments or receivables.<br>• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and practices.<br>• Prepare and submit reports on financial activities as required.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.<br>• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to address financial inquiries.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.<br>• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and invoice coding.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.<br>• Familiarity with financial software and tools.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.<br>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.<br>• Prior experience in a similar accounting role preferred.
