HR Generalist/Payroll
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Rochester, New York. This Contract to permanent position focuses on both recruitment and payroll administration, supporting critical human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and expertise in managing payroll processes and recruitment activities.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Administer full-cycle payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.<br>• Handle payroll tasks such as garnishments, deductions, and adjustments with precision.<br>• Maintain detailed payroll records and documentation to support reporting and audits.<br>• Oversee the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.<br>• Manage onboarding activities for new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.<br>• Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.<br>• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies throughout HR and payroll operations.<br>• Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and HR inquiries.<br>• Utilize HR and payroll systems effectively to streamline processes and maintain records.<br>• Contribute to improvements in HR and payroll workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Proven experience in payroll administration, including handling garnishments and deductions.<br>• Familiarity with managing payroll for medium-sized employee groups (101-500 employees).<br>• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes and strategies.<br>• Proficiency in HR and payroll systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll and recruitment activities.<br>• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll and human resources.<br>• Effective communication skills for working with employees, management, and external partners.
