HR Generalist
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Rochester, New York. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity within the manufacturing industry, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions. Bring your expertise in employee relations, HR administration, and onboarding to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Build and maintain positive relationships with employees by addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.<br>• Oversee and execute HR administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.<br>• Manage onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new hires, from orientation to integration.<br>• Administer employee benefits programs, providing support and guidance to staff regarding their options.<br>• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR operations.<br>• Collaborate with management to implement strategies that enhance employee engagement and productivity.<br>• Provide guidance and support in performance management and disciplinary procedures.<br>• Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote skill development and compliance awareness.<br>• Assist in recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, interviews, and candidate evaluations.<br>• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution within diverse work environments.<br>• Strong knowledge of HR administration, including compliance with labor laws and regulations.<br>• Familiarity with onboarding processes and the ability to create positive experiences for new hires.<br>• Experience in managing employee benefits programs and providing clear communication about options.<br>• Proficiency in HRIS systems for managing employee data and streamlining workflows.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
