Sr. Procurement Consultant
<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to join our team for a contract position. This role focuses on managing procurement processes such as RFPs, IFBs, and Quick Quotes while adhering to state-specific procurement guidelines. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in government procurement and demonstrate a deep understanding of purchasing standards and practices within the healthcare industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Develop and manage procurement processes, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations for Bid (IFBs), and Quick Quotes.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with state-specific procurement regulations and guidelines.</p><p>• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and draft comprehensive procurement documents.</p><p>• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms.</p><p>• Utilize e-procurement systems to streamline purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.</p><p>• Provide expert advice on procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency and quality.</p><p>• Oversee the preparation and review of RFP responses and related documentation.</p><p>• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure their adherence to contract terms.</p><p>• Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with objectives.</p><p>• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in procurement standards to ensure best practices.</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in state or government procurement.<br>• Proven expertise in managing RFP processes, contract negotiations, and vendor evaluations.<br>• Familiarity with state-specific procurement regulations and guidelines.<br>• Strong knowledge of e-procurement systems and purchasing practices.<br>• Certifications such as or are highly preferred.<br>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.<br>• Ability to analyze and interpret complex procurement documents.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
