Procurement Specialist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in managing procurement operations and ensuring compliance with established processes. The ideal candidate has experience withnprocurement and strong analytical skills to support purchasing activities.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee procurement processes, including purchase orders and vendor management, to ensure efficiency and compliance.</p><p>• Coordinate and execute buying procedures in alignment with organizational policies.</p><p>• Conduct contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.</p><p>• Utilize eVA procurement systems to manage transactions and reporting effectively.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and develop strategies to meet them.</p><p>• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all purchasing activities.</p><p>• Analyze market trends to support informed decision-making in procurement activities.</p><p>• Develop and sustain productive relationships with vendors and stakeholders.</p><p>• Support audits and reviews by providing detailed procurement records and report</p>
<p>• Minimum of 1 year of experience in government procurement or related field.</p><p>• Proficiency in using procurement platforms such as eVA.</p><p>• Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of purchase order processes and contract negotiations.</p><p>• Previous experience with Virginia-based procurement systems preferred.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to analyze market trends and manage vendor relationships effective</p>
