Onboarding Specialist
We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting new hires and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience within a fast-paced healthcare environment. As this is a long-term contract position, we seek an individual with strong attention to detail who excels in customer service, organization, and confidentiality.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and efficiently.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and assist employees during onboarding.<br>• Maintain and update employee records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.<br>• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth transitions for new employees.<br>• Utilize multiple systems and tools to manage onboarding workflows and track progress.<br>• Conduct verification of documents and authorization forms in compliance with company policies.<br>• Assist with training sessions and provide guidance to new employees regarding company protocols.<br>• Handle phone inquiries and resolve issues related to onboarding processes.<br>• Monitor and adapt to frequent changes in procedures, maintaining professionalism under all circumstances.<br>• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards throughout the onboarding process.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in Human Resources or a related field preferred.<br>• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or human resources.<br>• Strong aptitude for technology and the ability to work with multiple systems.<br>• Exceptional communication and listening skills to deliver high-quality customer service.<br>• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.<br>• Proven ability to uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.<br>• Comfortable with physical activities such as prolonged sitting and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
