Mailroom Operations Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced Mailroom Operations Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position within the automotive industry, where you will play a critical role in managing mail operations and ensuring compliance with vendor service levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering collaboration across teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze and evaluate data from third-party vendors to monitor compliance and performance ratings.<br>• Partner with management to establish and maintain benchmarks for departmental objectives.<br>• Oversee the handling of inbound and outbound mail, inter-company packages, and courier deliveries to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.<br>• Serve as a liaison between mail operations and extension buildings, facilitating communication and mail delivery.<br>• Track and report mail operations expenditures to align with budget expectations.<br>• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Ensure safe and efficient mail practices while adhering to organizational goals.<br>• Assist in the annual budget process and support monthly evaluations of vendor service levels.<br>• Perform other duties as assigned to support mail operations and organizational needs.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in mail operations or logistics.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.<br>• Strong ability to collaborate across functions to identify opportunities and resolve issues.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, detail-oriented relationships.<br>• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Customer service skills to effectively address and resolve issues.<br>• Capability to develop and execute plans using available resources.
