<p>We are looking for an experienced FP& A Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will oversee critical financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and supporting the organization's decision-making processes. This is a long-term contract position ideal for professionals with a strong background in manufacturing accounting and finance.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct detailed financial analyses, including forecasting and modeling, to support strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Prepare and consolidate accounting data for accurate month-end close activities.</p><p>• Manage manufacturing cost accounting processes to ensure precise cost tracking and reporting.</p><p>• Compile and deliver comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.</p><p>• Perform account reconciliations and ensure journal entries are accurate and compliant for post SAP implementation.</p><p>• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data and improve reporting efficiency.</p><p>• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial system transitions and process improvements.</p><p>• Monitor commodities-related cost trends and provide insights for financial planning.</p><p>• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and classified for post SAP implementation.</p>

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting and finance.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex functions and data analysis.<br>• Expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP& A) processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and related practices.<br>• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.<br>• Proven ability to handle month-end close activities and financial reporting.<br>• Experience with account reconciliation and journal entry processes.<br>• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
