File Clerk
We are looking for a meticulous and dependable File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. This part-time role involves organizing, maintaining, and managing both physical and digital records in a medical office setting. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining confidentiality.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Sort, organize, and file paper records into the designated filing system.<br>• Manage digital patient records using the office’s online system.<br>• Print, label, and file documents accurately to ensure proper organization.<br>• Handle sensitive medical information with discretion and confidentiality.<br>• Assist the Owner and Director with administrative tasks related to filing.<br>• Ensure filing areas remain clean, orderly, and up-to-date.<br>• Work independently while following detailed instructions.<br>• Scan and digitize physical documents for electronic recordkeeping.
• Prior experience in clerical or administrative roles is preferred.<br>• Proficiency in managing both physical and digital filing systems.<br>• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks.<br>• Comfortable working in a medical office environment.<br>• A focused and committed approach to maintaining confidentiality.<br>• Familiarity with scanning and e-filing processes is a plus.
