AutoCAD Drafter
<p>We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented <strong>CAD Drafter</strong> to support our architects and interior designers on branded hospitality projects, including work with <strong>Marriott</strong> and <strong>Hilton</strong>. This role is <strong>fully onsite, five days per week in our Richmond office</strong>, and requires strong AutoCAD skills, excellent file management, and the ability to collaborate with multiple project teams in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Produce accurate architectural and interior design drawings, including plans, elevations, and details in AutoCAD (2D).</li><li>Translate sketches, mark-ups, and redlines into clear, buildable construction documents.</li><li>Maintain and manage a unified drawing set for use by architects and designers.</li><li>Organize, rename, and track project files to ensure consistent and clean documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure drawings align with design intent, brand standards, and building codes.</li><li>Support revisions during permitting and construction administration.</li><li>Balance multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field preferred.<br>• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or upscale residential projects.<br>• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and building codes.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.<br>• Solid communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br>• Experience with 3D modeling or rendering software like 3D Studio Max or SolidWorks is advantageous.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise tools for project coordination is a plus.
