Material Control Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Control Analyst to join our team in Richburg, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate management of inventory and smooth material flow to support production processes. This role requires working directly on the warehouse floor, often around heavy machinery, to maintain operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Generate and update material control reports to provide accurate inventory information.<br>• Maintain and update the inventory management system to track part numbers and adjustments.<br>• Monitor and record inventory adjustments, including cycle count results.<br>• Assign storage locations in inventory for incoming materials and oversee part-to-part transfers.<br>• Investigate and resolve errors related to inventory discrepancies and location assignments.<br>• Support and participate in internal and external material audits to ensure compliance.<br>• Collaborate with teams to uphold health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives.<br>• Perform duties with precision and attention to detail to maintain high inventory accuracy.<br>• Assist with additional operational tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.<br>• Work in warehouse settings involving heavy machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
• Proven experience in inventory management and material control processes.<br>• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and cycle counting procedures.<br>• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.<br>• Ability to operate effectively in warehouse environments around heavy machinery.<br>• Knowledge of assembly lines and material flow processes.<br>• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to support audits and maintain accurate documentation.
