We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to lead and manage the daily operations of our cybersecurity program in the North Dallas area. This role requires a proactive individual with technical expertise to drive threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and patching initiatives across a hybrid cloud environment. Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee the Cybersecurity Operations team, ensuring effective management of analysts, incident responders, and vulnerability specialists.• Implement and monitor threat detection and response tools, including CrowdStrike Falcon Complete, Rapid7 InsightIDR, and Proofpoint.• Manage third-party patching strategies and execution, evaluating tools such as Patch My PC and Microsoft Intune.• Conduct vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation processes to safeguard enterprise systems.• Develop and maintain operational playbooks and standard operating procedures aligned with industry standards like ISO 27001.• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and application teams to ensure secure software deployments and timely updates.• Track and analyze performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.• Support compliance audits and risk assessments to maintain regulatory standards.• Mentor and guide team members to cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous innovation.

• At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or team management role. • Proficiency with enterprise security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Proofpoint, and Code42. • Familiarity with patch management tools and strategies, including Patch My PC and Microsoft Intune. • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and other security benchmarks. • Experience working in hybrid cloud environments, with a preference for expertise in Azure. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable. • Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills to drive team success.
