Grant Accountant
We are looking for a skilled Grant Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position, based in Rialto, California, offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage grant-related financial activities within the government sector. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in grant management and financial administration to ensure compliance and accuracy in all transactions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the administration and financial reporting of government grants, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.<br>• Perform detailed reconciliations and prepare audit documentation to support accurate financial reviews.<br>• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and efficient transactions.<br>• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper allocation of funds and adherence to grant guidelines.<br>• Utilize Abila MIP software to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.<br>• Monitor and report on fund administration activities, including net asset value (NAV) calculations.<br>• Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize grant utilization and fund management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on grant management and fund administration.<br>• Proficiency in handling government grants and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.<br>• Strong knowledge of Abila MIP software for financial management and reporting.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.<br>• Solid understanding of general ledger processes and financial statement preparation.<br>• Ability to conduct audit preparation and reconciliation activities with exceptional attention to detail.<br>• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present financial findings clearly.
