Project Assistant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team in Reno, Nevada. In this Contract/Temporary position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting administrative tasks and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Provide administrative support to departments or office locations, including reception and guest services.</p><p>• Manage mailroom operations, including sorting, delivering, and coordinating mail for building tenants.</p><p>• Welcome and announce clients, applicants, and visitors while adhering to security protocols for visitor registration and identity validation.</p><p>• Issue visitor passes and parking permits when applicable, arranging escorts as needed.</p><p>• Maintain accurate records and logs of service requests, tracking their progress and completion.</p><p>• Collaborate with facilities teams to address and follow up on work orders.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows.</p><p>• Assist in organizing files, scanning documents, and managing shipping and delivery functions.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to create reports and manage data efficiently.</p>
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or customer service role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.<br>• Familiarity with scanning, organizing files, and handling shipping functions.<br>• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
